The Dubuque Community School District will host “Internet Safety for Parents and Community,” presented by a representative from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), on Thursday, Jan. 7, at 6:30 p.m. in the Washington Middle School Auditorium. The event is free and the public is invited to attend.

‘School Speak’ to Discuss District Finances and Teacher Leadership, Dec. 19
The Dubuque Community School District will host a “School Speak” event at 8 a.m. on Saturday, December 19, at the district’s administrative offices at 2300 Chaney Road.
The forum, designed to provide additional opportunities for conversation between administrators and community members, will include short presentations on district finances and the district’s teacher leadership initiatives.

Eisenhower Lego League advances
The Eisenhower Lego League, coached by Theressa Northouse, will advance to regional competition after winning the district competition this past weekend at Eleanor Roosevelt Middle School. The Lego League will be advancing to the next level of competition in Ames, Iowa on Sunday, December 16th. Congratulations and good luck!
