Battle of the Books
The Dubuque Community School District is currently planning on holding a Battle of the books during the 2022-23 school year. Look for additional information on this page in the future.
Battle of the Books Rules
1. Battle of the Books is for 5th grade students at Eisenhower Elementary School in Dubuque, Iowa.
2. Every Eisenhower team must consist of no more than 5 students and each student must commit to reading the agreed upon titles within the time given for the battle.
3. Every student on the team needs to have a signed contract with 2 signatures, one from the student & one from the parent, turned in to Mrs. Dostal by (TBD-2nd semester). Once you have committed there is no backing out!
4. There are quizzes in the library to help you see how you are doing on each book, beginning in March
